Do you even read the Bible why do always have to change it to fit what you want it say? You have made a mockery of God’s word and turned it into something unholy and committed Blasphemy by putting your words in Gods mouth..

I grew up Baptist. I know what you mean!

I had questions about the Bible. I ask my Grandmother and our Pastor about somethings in the Bible concerning Spiritual gifts.
They both told me that 'WE' don't believe in those things. Also that those are not for today. Just a few Sundays before Pastor preached that The Bible is more accurate for my life today than tomorrows newspaper. Sent a kid confused looking for answers someplace else.

I joined a Holy Rollers Church. They Believed in the Spiritual gifts and Practiced them. Problem that I had with them was that they Practiced them under the guise of the Holy Spirit. However they never once Followed the rules set down by the Holy Spirit concerning the Gifts written by St. Paul in I Corinthians Chs. 12/13/14.

SO again I was out the door. I found truth and life in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Not only does the church believe, they teach it and follow the rules.

Whether or not they may burn in hell is not for us to judge, but it is important that they actually should read the book, and think for themselves as to what it says rather than accept what is being taught from the pulpit as law.

I take it you are not very fond of either Baptists or born again Christians.
According to Jesus, every Christian is born agian, but that phrase has been so badly abused by Charismatic types that anyone with any intelligence at all tends to back away from it.
They see these people babbling in false "tongues", being "slain in the spirit, or "drunk in the spirit", or being overcome by "Holy hysterics", and some even more bizarre behavior, and they, quite sensibly, don't want any part of it. This is NOT what being "born again" means.
Baptists are not QUITE that bad. They aren't exactly "lying", they are speaking what they truly believe. Of course, some of them, like that Fred Phelps, are rather an embarrassment to decent Baptists, and that's a shame.
Charismatics have been proven over and over again to be outright fakes, yet they keep getting out of jail and back on the TV, where they fool hundreds of people regularly.
It's a shame to Christ's church.

Matt. 24:36 - many sects try to predict the coming of Christ. But Jesus says, "no one but the Father knows the day and the hour." The sects that try to predict Christ's coming ignore these words.

Matt. 24:36 - we should also note that Jesus’ statement does not mean than Jesus does not know the day of His Second Coming. Jesus does know, because He is God. With this statement, Jesus explains that He chose to know by His human knowledge only that which He wanted to know for His mission of salvation. In other words, Jesus could have chosen not to know everything by His own human knowledge, but Jesus knew everything in His human knowledge through its hypostatic union to His eternal and infinite divine knowledge.

Matt. 24:44 – Jesus warns us that the Son of Man is coming at an hour we do not expect.

Matt. 25:13 – Jesus says “watch therefore, and be prepared, for you know neither the day nor the hour.”

Mark 13:35-37 – Jesus says “watch because you do not know when the Master of the House will come - watch!”

Luke 12:46 - the Master will come on a day and at an hour when He is not expected.

Acts 1:7 - Jesus says it is not for us to know the times or seasons which the Father has fixed by His own authority.

1 Thess. 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Rev. 3:3 - the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

James 5:7 - be patient until the coming of the Lord. Those who try to predict disregard this inspired teaching.

Rev. 22:20 - Jesus says He is coming soon, but He does not tell us when He is coming. Because Jesus says we do not know the day or the hour and will be surprised at His coming, it is silly, and disobedient, for people and groups to predict His coming. We, instead, need to be about the business of growing in holiness, so that we are prepared for our Lord when He comes again, no matter when that will be.

Um... So you're basically saying that all or most Christians are going to hell for lying....
There are a couple of problems with your reasoning:

1. You just make a universal statement without bothering to back it up with any evidence, examples, or even explanation.

2. Due to the very fact that we are Christians (at least, all of us that are REAL Christians), we are not going to hell.
Everyone *has* sinned and lied, and would ordinarily go to hell, but Christ rescued us from that by serving the death sentence for our sins himself.

Could you clarify what you mean by your question?
Thanks.

I am not Baptist but I am a "True Christian" just wondering which words you are talking about. Can you give us an example?

Isn't that what a majority of people with a religious belief do?
