Most people who are truly born of God don't have a profanity problem anymore. Because there heart is changed.

Profanity is a sign that someone has a heart problem.

As many have already said, no we shouldn't curse. However, no one on this Earth is perfect or even close. All we can do is try. I don't think people are going to go to Hell if they do cuss (even though that isn't really my call - its God's). The Eph. verse that someone already listed is a very good example of how we shouldn't cuss and James 3:5-12 (especially verse 10: "Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.")

So, no we shouldn't use it. .but we do.

Yes and no. There is no prohibition against profanity, per se, but there is against blasphemy. Our language should be the language of love, not hate and anger, and it doesn't make a good impression among non-believers, but it isn't prohibitted.

No, but sometimes I go nuclear when people willfully act ignorant. It doesn't happen very often, and when it does, the area and atmosphere all around gets real, real quiet(my voice booms and resonates like I'm in a tunnel). However, I'm getting to the age now where I don't like to yell and scream, so I keep mindful of my bloodpressure and heart-condition.

Of course we shouldn't. Nobody should, really, it is impolite and shows our ignorance.
Unfortunately, we are none of us perfect, and we often do things we shouldn't.
Thank God we have an Advocate with the Father for those times when we "blow it".
Let's face it, when I go to my trial, the DA (Satan) has all the goods on me. He has me cold, and the penalty is death. Hey, but as long as my PD is the Judge's Son, and the plea bargaining has already been made and accepted, I'm not gonna sweat it.
So, take that, Satan!

If your a Christian you shouldn't swear needlessly. There's no point of it. Take your worries to God, not spit them out in profanity.
