Well it surely would not be an earth day! Which time zone would she choose? I cannot imagine some puny earthling presuming to know what a God knows .

The definition is given several times in Genesis 1. "And the evening and the morning were the first (second, etc) day. It's a 24 hour period, but it isn't from midnight to midnight, but sunset to sunset.
The Bible also says that a day for God is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day refering to time is not such a great factor for Him since He is eternal.

24 hours.
j/k ;)
Although, that may be the literal interpretationalist's view.
I tend to believe that those who wrote the Bible were speaking in terms of a "day" meaning just a "period of time" since no one can know for sure!

I read somewhere that God does indeed measure time, probably only for the benefit of us lowly mortals to understand him. I read that one day to God is 1000 years to us.

the concept of time as human's understand it is meaningless to God...
in His eyes, all events occur in one ultimate moment...
remember, God was the one who created all space and time, and put the universe into motion...
