How much deep spirituality is in a palm sized comic book?

How many hate pamphlets should be in circulation. Chick comics are among the most viciously racist and bigotted material I have ever seen outside of the bible itself. They make Westboro Baptist seem tolerant. I wish hate groups like "Bible Believers," Christian Identity," et al were just jokes but they are very real and very dangerous.

If they can believe in "The 700 Club," then they can believe anything, and they are armed and prepared to act on their beliefs.

Truthfully, I don't think that you'll find much spirituality in a palm-sized comic book, a football-field-sized comic book or any comic book for that matter. Spirituality is found in the heart and mind and is strengthened by good works, sacrifice and prayer. Happy Easter!!

I think it is very important to take Chick very seriously. It is no different than the Klan or al Qaida. Stupidity is not a reason not to take him seriously. It is very dangerous to look at him as a freak show or a moronic side show. He leads a lot of hate and the people who connect with him don't notice it. There is a tremendous advantage to comic presentation, people who should be taking this very seriously ignore it, people who shouldn't be listening are.

It isn't about depth it is about connecting people in very psychologically powerful ways while disarming the potential opposition.

Jack Chick is a complete moron. No intelligent or even reasonably intelligent person should take this guy seriously. Only a truly ignorant person will pay this guy any mind. Those tracts are meant for kids and ignorant adults.

The only thing I take seriously is that he uses that comic book format to target young people with impressionable minds.
If it was geared toward adults, I wouldn't be concerned.
He uses scare tactics and disinformation to convert those who are young and/or ignorant of the fact that his tracts are filled with half-truths and downright lies.

whats really scary is that some people actually do.

I would not underestimate the amount of signifigance you can pack into a small package, but chick tracts are just.. psychotic.

I don't. His work is simplistic and biased. He has no problem badmouthing Christians who he disagrees with, which is clearly unscriptural. He really needs to repent.
