The great difference is to be Christian or not.
Don't be Christian, but be an religious men meen, that men believe in the God of the Old Testament, when God closed the Heaven for men, because the sin of Adam and Eve.
To be an Christian, meen to believe in the God of the New Testament too, God who suffers the punishment for all the sins of menkind(past- see Adam and Eve-,prezent and future) in His Son Jesus Christ God. At Easter Adam and Eve are forgived too, and go in the Heaven which is now Opened for men.
Easter is a great day of the Love of God for men and a day of a great thankful of men for God, who opened the Heaven for men.
For the Love of Jesus, who accepted the ataks of devil in our place, in silence, without respond to evil, for the sins which was ours, we must respond with Eternal Love for Jesus Christ God.
The sin is like a terorist, make a slavery by men, until the soul of men will be died. But Jesus wins the death, so when an men realize that he is a slave of drink, of selfish, of sex, of pround, of power........he must speak WITH Jesus Christ (not just speak about Jesus), like a friend, sincere for help, just with Jesus men can win the slavery of the soul, without sufferings, and get the light in his soul, which will drive him to the God who forgived the men, in the name of Jesus Christ, who payed the price in our place. Bless my soul the God in His Saint Trinity!

Trying to explain the difference between all different religions would take volumes. Not to mention the fact that I am not familiar with ALL different religions, just major groups. Even this familiarity is by no means comprehensive.
For myself, serving God has given my life meaning, direction and purpose. It has educated me in the best way to live my life.(Isaiah 48:17) It has given me a sure hope for the future and made me a better person.

Christianity has served a purpose in my life. Not all religions are alike; They teach different things.

The differences are cultural and not important. The question I pursued was whether the Buddhist Dharma and the Christian Gospel are the same or not, and the answer I got was that there's no important difference. It has left me open to the truth that lies behind most points of view. Only kindness matters.

There are so many religions, probably thousands of them, and they have very little in common except offering their followers their own version of how to be more godly.
My religion, Eckankar, has served a mighty purpose in my life. It has enabled me to know my exact relationship with God and why I am here.

Religion is about how you get to God through works. Christianity is about how God got to you, and he did it in the most amazing way through his Son Jesus Christ.

SERVICE to your fellow man is the basis for all religions...or should be. If you bring them pleasure, if you provide them with relief, no god should be offended.
