Maverickism. ...not sure if it can be called a religion. But, I created it, based on my own views, and my own observations. It's based on rationality, and causality.

Most Americans have not chosen their religion. It has been instilled into us at an early age over a period of years so it is part of our world view. We feel logic and common sense battle with the religion that we grew up in but it is almost impossible to see a different or no religion and make the change just because it makes more sense.

I am a Mormon. I was born into this religion, but I have looked at many other religions. I stuck with this one because I got a really good feeling about it. It was like a still, small voice telling me that I was doing the right thing.

I was baptized into the
Episcopal Church as a little girl
and I did not choose this my parents

in the Episcopal Church and this was back in the 1950's
I still attend the Episcopal Church and yes I have been
in the Baptist

the way they treat people

treat people like crap

it's not that i don't want religion, i just don't see the logic in it. i am a very logical and scientific person, so a lot of religious things don't make sense to me. I consider myself an atheist, but not a hater. so if it counts as a "religion" i'm a free thinker

Christianity. It teaches love and peace and obedience to Jesus. Jesus was the ONLY head of a church [of God] who actually rose from the dead and now lives at the right hand of God. See if any of the others have done this. Love and peace to you all, no matter what you believe, or not believe in.

Unless you convert, one is usually born into a religion...I'm a Jew and I love being a Jew. We've been beaten, slaughtered, hounded and killed yet we still survive...Talk about the power of the spirit!

I am my own religion. I chose it because all others wanted to "brain wash me".

I'm a Jew
I choose to be one because logically it doesn't require me to accept anything I can't understand on faith alone.
