I don't know. God only speaks of One Body of Christ-the church in the Bible. And the prayer of His heart in John chapter 17 is that all His people are one in mind and heart.

What matters most is that He loves us so, so much! All of us, whether liturgical or free, Baptist or Greek Orthodox!

I am almost 50 years old and have been an active Catholic all of my life and I only know of a couple of "Sects" of Catholic groups. Certainly not 100's.

Far too many to mention here. Over 100 different sects of which the Roman Catholics make up about 1/2 and the combined Lutheran, Baptist, Presbyterian and Methodists make up another 1/4 to 1/3.
