I'm ashamed to be a military veteran from the years 1969 to 1975. The Americans (Back in those years ) treated me like a low life and now looking back I now know why. The USA government made the young men in uniform do deeds that made jesus cry and for that I want to say to the world "I'm ashamed I served the USA Government". I had to get a job shoveling horse crap out of barns just to get my dignity back after I left the service. Now we are making another mistake over Iraq and to the brave insurgents I say I'm sorry.

And from a guy that volunteered (6 years total service in the Navy and Air Force) and not all if any in Vietnam or combat. Couple of key points readers may have missed. You never say that you did deeds to make Jesus cry....so the logical assumption is that since you served in the USAF &USN your deeds were....just deeds. Good for you. If you did terrible deeds you would be proud to list them just to show how bad the USA government treated...you know I'm right. Second if you were so ashamed that you served the USA Government; remember you didn't say the US Military...why a then to you work for the Department of Defense for 24 years? You state this in you ABOUT ME section. And since the DoD is the military..IHey, 6 years active duty military plus 24 years DoD military makes you a 30 year military man. You served in shame for 30 years. Golly you must need therapy so desperatly.
You must be delusional at time too...since you have the mis-guided need to apologize to the insugents in Iraq. If you were mentally ill that would verge on be traitorious.
You need to be placedin a VA mental facility until the USA Goverment can make sure you are well once again. Then you can go back to the only job that had saved your soul....shovel horse crap out off barns. Boo ho, boo ho.... it must suckto be you. Not everyone treated you like a "low life." People can only do to you what you let them do.
From your profile, you apparently spent the majority of your life at the "government trough" so now why the "I'm ashamed I served the USA Government"?
If you really believe that then write a letter to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM.gov) and refuse your government pension from the Department of Defense!!!!!
Otherwise don't dishonor your fellow veterans and the current brave military personnel with your treasonous comments about the "brave insurgents!"

Senator Kerry, if that's you, please check in with your Swift Boat Veterans For Truth counsellor. If you're not Kerry I think I remember you. You were the guy from that little armpit country who joined the US military for the benefits, but had no intention of honoring your agreement to defend the Constitution, etc. As I recall you never did serve the USA. We threw you out of the service and sent you back home with your tail between your legs. Go give that insurgent with the bulky vest a big hug, just before he pulls the string.

Go get some therapy, your f--ked-up. I served with the marines in 1968 at Khe Sahn, and those men and myself served honorably. We were treated like crap because then like today the democratic liberals ruled the day. If you server ed honorably then be proud, hold your chest out, and don't let others make you feel ashamed for doing your duty. If you can't do that then you make me sick.
