I guess that means you don't care that your ex is dating your best friend. There's a code among good friends that a guy and/or girl does not come between friendships.
And with guys it's all about pride. One of the most hurtful things a woman can do is sleep with his best friend.
I would worry that the guys remain friends and compare notes. And besides, do you want to continue hanging out with your ex. You know he'll be around. They're best friends.
Ask yourself why you don't want to move on and why you'd rather stay within his crowd.

He's you ex, therefore, he has no rights on you. You are free to date anyone you want. If he has any issues with either you, or his friends, that's his problem.

He is lying to you and they are off limits. You will become "that woman" to that group of people, not something you really want to be known as. Don't do it, it's awkward and causes trouble between the guys.
There are plenty of other guys out there.

I have done it before. I felt good about it but then again I didnt because I was doing it behind my ex's back.

They may say it is okay, but realy it would bother them. I wouldn't do out of respect.
