I dont know much about van dammes fighting style but wasnt chuck norris undefeated in professional kick boxing?

i didnt ask it to sound dumb i just know that i watch mostly chuck norris movies and i liked them but i didnt know how much real martial arts train van damme had

Chuck Norris was a champion in karate. He holds black belts in Tang Soo Do, Taekwando, and Shito Ryu Karate. He is also the founding member of the Chun Kuk Do style. He used to spar with Bruce Lee leading to his appearance in Way of The Dragon. He wasn't very successful early on in Karate competitions with a string of defeats but later turned the situation around and ended his Karate career with a record of 65–5.
Van Damme meanwhile has studied Shotokan Karate, Kickboxing, Taekwon-Do, and Muay Thai. He won the European professional karate association's middleweight championship as a teenager, and also beat the 2nd best karate fighter in the world. It is true that he did get knocked out in one punch by Chuck Zito but witnesses do state it was a sucker punch.
A difficult one. If on a level playing field I tend to believe that Norris would have the edge although I think with Van Dammes's Kickboxing background he may have the potential to be more vicious, although Norris does have a military background. As Norris is 67 and Van Damme is 20 years younger I would say if the fight was now Van Damme would win.

thats is a stupid question in the 1970's chuck norris was 3 time world karate champion along with kickboxing chamion van damme is ballet dancer never even had a fight of anykind all the throws is basic side kick he is not even a real fighter

I'm not too sure about Van Daam's martial arts backround, but from what I understand, he doesn't really have one. He was mostly interested in dancing and ballet.
Chuck Norris, on the other hand, was an 8 time international Karate Champion, and an 8 time American Karate champion from what I understand. He also trained with Bruce Lee, who was a highly intelligent actor, teacher, martial artist, and was as tough as they come.
Pretty stupid question if you ask me...
