near death experiences disprove Christianity?

From reports I've heard on NDE's People don't go to straight to heaven or hell after death. There is no fire and brimstone hell. What happens depends on your state of mind at death and how spiritual you were in life. Hell is a state of mind of terror and hatred until you see your ways and call on the spirit of god to pull you out. He will. How long you stay in hell is up to you. Even going to the highest heaven is not as easy as christians claim. Words don't help. A pledge of Lordship to jesus is not enough. We must walk our lives in unconditional love. Suicides don't go to hell. They create their own hell in their afterlife until they recieve help. Depends on their reason for suicide. Life is a learning experience. Religion helps but it doesn't really matter. There is no true religion. God is seen in all of them. Nonchristians who have died have seen god. There is no satan. Trying to scare hell into people to be christian only works for so long. Then it will not

Haha your answer presumes that you have died before and are now raised to life. Well, as long as you are alive, there is no 'certain' answer except from that as is written in the Bible. And NDEs shouldn't be the yardstick in measuring whether religion is right or wrong, because experiences differ from person to person, and such experiences in itself is not a good gauge in determining heaven, hell, or the necessity of religion. But these do give you an 'insight' into the spiritual realm, and that such do exist.

I too have experienced NDEs in the past. Before I came to know God, I was a Satanist, and have personally experienced multiple NDEs myself which were very demonic and spiritual... but that all changed when Christ entered my life. It was a life-changing experience that I'll never forget.

The Bible has predicted tons of prophecies that have come to past, on top of being historically and archaeologically accurate (and never been successfully refuted - it has stood the test of time, with increasing numbers receiving Christ as compared to sharp declines in the case of cults which fail anyway), and most of all, personal encounters with God and changed lives all the more tell us that God exists - God is real, and He still loves us, even today.

True, life is a learning experience, but without God, it is futile.

EVERYTHING is up for interpretation. The Tunnel is described in the Bible as the Valley of the Shadow of Death. People who die and come back obviously didn't get far enough into the system to be able to say what happens after they cross the frontier, or 'gates'.

And my aunt died and returned, and she DID find herself in a fire and brimstone hell. I find it frightening that she reported all of it, then within a matter of months, FORGOT all about it.
I have to wonder what happened when she really died...

There are many Christians who do not see it as black or white as some of the others. I am one of those Christians, so dont clump us all together. Another thing is that these people do not die, they almost die. Many change their lives based on what happened and maybe that's the point. It's a reminder that there is an after life and you need to live as a good of a life as you can here.

Sounds like purgatory to me...so it doesn't surprise me a bit. The only people that will be in hell are those who knowingly and purposefully choose to be there. There are many non-believers who were baptized and claimed for God when they were born. Like it or not. If they do not believe because they really think that is the correct path...no one knows what happens to them. It's up to God, not up to us.

We will all spend time in purgatory...how long depends on the state of your soul when you die.

in simple terms imagine Jesus replaced into alive correct this second fairly of even as he replaced into. He could be considered no longer something more advantageous than yet another nut interest who thinks they could search for suggestion from from god. the reality about the completed life after lack of life element in my opinion is that no individual is acquainted with what occurs and that's noticeably arogant to imagine you do. there is not any information of any faith being splendid except records written via human beings. in simple terms get excitement from life and be a fantastic individual. If there's a God/Gods (whose to assert there is in simple terms one) do you imagine they could be worried about human beings getting married before they have sex or going to church on Sunday. probable no longer; probable more advantageous apprehensive about preserving the elements and sunlight going. haha

I ask you how does one know that these people are no hallucinating? I know people that said God took them to heaven and then hell. Both looked just as the Bible says, should we value one's word over another?

I'd suspect the Christians would agree with many atheists on this one in that NDEs would be results of chemical interactions in your brain when everything is being disrupted...
