Because it's too costly to make a round box. Square boxes are easier to produce and have less waste.

Probably because round boxes are harder to make than square boxes, don't you think? It's still good in the square boxes, though. :O))

Square boxes are cheaper to manufacture, ship and assemble. If boxes cost more, pizza would cost more.

Well, they are probably easier to put together and store. Also, they fit neatly in those special pizza carry bags...
I imagine its the same reason vinyl records get put in square covers.

if they was in a round box how would you get a slice easy?? you couldnt grab a peice from the edge unless the box was huge then it would get flown all over the place in the box.x
