Yes, I love it with a really tasty tomato sauce or some mushrooms and pesto.

Spaghetti with vongole veraci (fresh clams in their shells) is my favourite and one of the favourite pasta dish of Italians too. But there is one that I love even more. It' s spaghetti with breadcrubs, a typical poor people pasta dish. Put some olive oil in a pan, add a crushed garlic, brown it and discard it, then add two salted anchovies and melt them in the hot oil, then some bread crumbs grated from some leftover dry bread, add also some pine seed and fry the lot till it has assorbed all the oil and is gone lightly brown. Take it off the fire and let it cool. Cook the spaghetti, drain then and sprinkle on them the bread crumbs ad if it was parmesan or toss the lot in the frying pan. Some people even add some sultana while cooking the crumb mixture. It's a fantastic pasta dish made by the geniality of poor Sicilian housewives with many mounths to feed of times gone by who couldn't afford to throw away old bread. Buon Appetito!

I like spaghetti and use ground turkey for my meat sauce. Of course, I get my sauce from a jar which is an affront to most Italians, but I don't know how to make real sauce! I wish someone would teach me, I'll bet real sauce spaghetti is the best!

Spaghetti bolognaise is very nice when I cook it. I use a good red wine in it. Lovely.
