I have a bread machine but can't seem to find the book on it. I would like to make bread. Does anyone know the process?

Bread makers can be a bit different in the options they offer, and each may be a bit different from each other too in how well they do the various functions.

But there are loads of recipes for "making bread in a bread-maker" online, as well as loads of bread machine books you could check out for lots of recipes.
All the recipes will work in a breakmaker, but you may have to choose only the 4-hr option or the "quick" option, etc., on your particular machine.

You can find books at the library, or amazon/etc. sells many of them, used or new. The ones by Linda Rehberg and Linda Conway seem to be highly regarded by most people.

To find lots of tips on using a bread machine as well as which books people liked best, look at the Customer Reviews at amazon.com, for individual bread makers

I make Bread every year at Christmas in my Bread Machine and give to family and friends. You can buy the Sour Dough bread Mix at Wal-Mart for about $1.47 a Box and it makes a big Loaf. Just can't beat it straight from the machine hot and with a Little Butter, YUM YUM

Most bread machines take mixes. Buy a mix and read the directions. Or you can look up the machine you have online through the company that made it. They should have instructions online or at least how you can contact them to get instructions.

Oster Bread-O-Matic is what we have. This is the process we use:

1 Cup water
1.5 cups of flour
1/2 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt (optional)

then hit start/mix, this makes a regular loaf of white bread. Yummy!
