No since it would have prevented me being saved though his sacrificial death. Plus, death cannot hold him so there would have being no point. It would have been like offering a goldfish a bath.

God had a plan and their was a prophecy to be full filled that went back to Adam and Eve.
Its a good question...if you killed Hitler when he was a baby..would that prevent WWII...???
this sounds like the theme for a twilight zone plot...but it is interesting
i would daydream about saving General George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Big Horn...he lose over 200 men and himself..thus set off a war against the Indians in 1876 that cost the Indian nation millions of lives and over a half million acres of land..and also put the Indians on reservations...
Custer was evil but he was a product of his generation..now we know he got his justice but at what cost did it serve the Native Americans??
well forgive me for digressing but you can see what a paradox and can of worms you would open if you could change history...
i would win a big lottery..hmm but then i would run amok and end up broke..lol

Jesus himself could not defy the will of his father. You see the open door, many do not. That is faith, not blind faith, faith. The key to that gate, is the key to our hearts. If a person must worship something other than the father, or his spirit, then that person should worship the Resurrection. Compassion is the key, for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son...

No. His Karma mandated that he die (if he existed in the first place, that is).

I'd try to. I mean I'm pretty short, and that cross was pretty tall, but I'd try my damnedest to get him down.

Jesus told his disciples that this would all happen to him. It was all absolutely necessary.
