D. Artificial selection

The different colors are produced by artificial selection, in which certain traits (such as color) are selected for and used to grow flowers that someone wants.

It would not be natural selection b/c humans are causing the roses to grow different colors; it doesn't happen naturally.

Coevolution involves the evolution of two species at the same time. In this example, we're only concerned with roses.

Different ecosystems - while some flowers may grow differently in different parts of the world, their ecosystem generally does not change. For example, you won't see roses growing in tundra.
