You might need to call you bank. I left the country last year and attempted to use my debit card. The bank said because I did not notify them that I was leaving the country they cancelled my card due to fraudulent activities. It was a hassel and 6 months before I could use my debit card again!

Good Luck!

Okay assuming you are trying to do something on the internet.

1. Are you selecting Credit Card and the correct card type(Visa/Mastercard) the one that matches the symbol on your card.

2. If it is asking for an address to verify information are you putting in your correct billing address.

3. If it is asking for the CVC are you entering the correct 3 digit number located on the back of the card.

4. Some banks have a restriction on the debit cards that if you are from an overseas location they will decline any attempt to charge. If this is the case then nothing you do is going to work.

5. Do you have enough on the card to pay for what you are trying to do.

If you are still having problems you need to contact the company who issued your the card, the phone number should be on the back. You can also go to their web site and send a message from there.

Actual a debit/credit card is the worst thing you can use for a phone call. This would drain your account in no time. The calls to the US are very expensive. US Embargo area's require special permission and special activation for a debit card and/or a credit card for most banks. In some cases only Military and Military families can use a debit or credit card in US Embargo areas.

Maybe the fact you are in IRAQ is part of the problem. If your card issuer does not know you are in IRAQ, they my be flagging the transaction as suspicious. Can you contact them and ask?

Damn! That's a vague question. How can we answer this question when we don't even know what kind of phone "thing" you're trying to use. Be more specific or call the customer service number. The number should be on the back of the phone "thing". Good luck!
