Can't delete a file in Windows? Here's what to do...
------------------------------------------------------
You cannot delete a file or a folder on an NTFS file system volume

-----------------------------------------------------------
If all else fails use this brute force method per:
http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt-2000-xp/380902-cannot-delete-file.html

Download Pocket KillBox http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste the following:

paste full path here

Now put a tick by Delete on reboot.
Click on the button with the red circle with the X. It will ask for confirmation. Click yes – repeat on all of the files – on the last one click yes twice

You need what is commonly called an "uninstaller program." Occasionally, problems arise when trying to uninstall software programs. For example, the install.log file is missing. Uninstaller programs scans your computer for all files and registry keys which belong to a specific software program. You can then use it to delete those files and keys. Try Your Uninstaller. It isn't free but it does come with a free 30 day trial period. You can find the program at (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Your_Uninstaller_2006/1031658821/1)

Here is a description of the program written by the developers:

Publisher's Description:
Your Uninstaller! provides a total solution for the uninstalling task It is the replacement of the original Windows Add/Remove program, offers a much user-friendly way to remove unneeded applications on your computer. It starts up about 5-10 times faster than Add/Remove program. Also, it can display appropriate icons of the application, so that you can easily find out the application you want to uninstall. You may also look up the application you want through a handy function. It can automatically detect rubbish registry keys and entirely delete them with your permission. All these can be done with few simple clicks under step by step instruction.

-----------------------------------------
If you want an uninstaller program which is completely free, you can use Zsoft Uninstaller (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/ZSoft_Uninstaller/1107791770/1). It isn't as powerful as Your Installer but it is still very effective.

Have you tried to use on your computer in the control panel, add remove programs? If not open your control panel up and look to select remove programs. You have to wait a few seconds to see if that program is listed. If so select remove and it should remove the program. Hope this helped you out.
