Hmmmmm.... Passover - one of the feasts of the Lord. Jews tell Christians they are "Jewish feasts" in Leviticus 23. Why do you listen? Read the Bible. Where does it say that? They are the Lord's feasts. Do you listen to what G-d says? Or what the Pharisees tell you?

Easter - a pagan atrocity masked with a cross. About as evil as haloween but moreso, as its masked to look righteous.

I wonder.

He was killed on Passover, came into Yerushalim on the Feast of Unleavened bread and Rose on the Feast of First Fruits.
I encourage you all....next year, try a Passover Seder. It is Biblical. It is beautiful. It is Mashiyach. It is what He would have us do, I 100% believe.

He would not celebrate Easter. He would feel about Easter what he felt about the money-changers in the Temple!

Easter is a pagan holiday celebrated before Christ came to earth. Whoever tells you that its the date Jesus was resurrected is telling a lie, and what does God say about lies? see 2 Thess 2:9-11

Unfortunately, when the pagan Roman government took over the early Christian congregation in 325 a.d., they forced all the Christians to begin participating in their pagan festivals to false gods. It is something that "the only true God" (John 17:3) considers "the unclean thing" (2 Cor 6:17)

Some folks dont know exactly what they are doing or why. many have been decieved into practicing rituals that actually were designed to honor false gods. it is important for anyone who believes anything to really know what they are doing and why, not just have blind faith that what they are told is correct. The One whom Jesus worships and calls "the only true God" (John 17:3) inspired the entire Bible and celebrating pagan rooted holidays under the deception of christianity is like spray-painting a dog turd gold and then trying to sell it to God as a precious metal!

There is only *ONE* Holy day designated for true Christians. It is the commemoration of the 'last supper' which is the Passover night Jesus sacrificed his life for humans who "do the will of my Father"--Matthew 7:21

Christ was born in the flesh into the line of God's then chosen people. He was a Jew and the Jews held the Passover in Christ's time on their calendar month of Nisan, day 14 (which corresponds to April 2nd, 2007) This was the most Holy day of the year for Christ when he was on earth. This was the anniversary of the day the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Acts 3:13) Jehovah forced Pharaoh to finally free His people from slavery. Passover occurs on the full moon which is 14 days after the first new moon visible in Jerusalem following the vernal equinox. All throughout the Hebrew Scriptures (the old testament) a savior/messiah is prophesied to come right about the time Y'hshua/Jesus (the son of God) was sent to earth by YHVH/Jehovah (his Father). It was very significant that Jesus sacrificed his life for mankind on the Jewish Passover. He was the sacrificial Lamb of God, the final Passover sacrifice (1 Corinthians 5:8; Hebrews 9:19-10:4) As the mirror image of his Father Jehovah's qualities, he proved that Jehovah is fair, just and loving and could resurrect the dead, which He will do on Judgement Day (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3)

So, each year on the 14th day after the first new moon following the vernal equinox every true Christian observes the *only* Holy day Jesus Christ directly asked us to observe (Luke 22:19) on the anniversary of same exact day he gave his life for us...
not xmas, not easter, not st. pattys day, not good friday, not st. valentines day, etc (do a Google search on the true origins of those "holidays") but the day on which the only-begotten son of "the only true God" Jehovah (John 17:3) gave his life for those of humankind who choose the Kingdom of his Father over human self-rule (Matthew 7:21-23)

Um, Jesus and the Apostles were celebrating the Jewish Passover, NOT the Easter event. The Easter event was the death and resurrection of Jesus. Since He couldn't be at the table, on the cross and resurrected at the same time. He was celebrating the Jewish Passover. Christianity came FROM Jewish traditions. The Roman emperor Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman empire. Due to most of the Romans and, alot of the conquered nations, believed in paganism, he incorporsted some pagan dates into Christianity, Easter was one. This was to assist in the assimilation of these people into the new faith.

The feast days were shadows of that which was/is to come.

Passover - Cross
First Fruits - Resurrection of the Dead at the 2nd Coming
Pentacost - Annointing of the Holy Spirit upon the church
Trumpets - Great Awakening (1700's - early 1800's)
Yom Kippor/Day of Judgement - Judgement Day (started in late 1800's at the end of the 2300 day prophecy written about in Daniel)

I celebrate the True Lamb of God, not the shadow of which was to come because He came and nailed the Mossaic Law on the cross.

Jesus instituted Communion to replace Passover. And the celebration of baptism by immersion (Romans 6) to remember the Resurrection. Not a celebration of pagan Easter.

While I agree with you to a certain extent, I don't see Easter as evil. Yes, it was a pagan holiday at one point, but are we not told to worship God every day? And so, if we choose to take a pagan holiday and celebrate Christ's ressurection on that day, is it still evil?

I'm not saying that Jesus wouldn't celebrate passover, but I think he would be fine with Easter as well. Good Friday might be a little awkward for him, though.

Col.2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Whether Christ would be celebrating the passover or not might well be in debate as he himself did fufill the Passover with his blood. The Passover did represent in shadow the atonement he did provide.

Frankly I don't really care about the "Jewish festivals" or the "Chirstian holidays". Both are pagan in one way or another. Easter comes from a pagan festival where they honor a pagan god who requires human sacrifices and dip eggs in the blood while praying to those gods for a better year to come. Jewish festivals come from other civilizations dating passover and all the other jewish festivals by several hundred years. That and the simple fact that most religions either condradict themselves or each other. Well, that's my two cents and I'm sticking to it.

"Jews tell Christians they are "Jewish feasts" in Leviticus 23."

ok, please try and straighten things out in that twisted little head of yours....

Judaism was around BEFORE Christianity....so things that happened BEFORE Christ are Jewish and have nothing to do with Christ

so.....how in the world could Jews be telling Christians anything in Leviticus when the things in Leviticus happened way before Christ????

they ARE feasts for the Jews to celebrate

Vayikra - Leviticus
Chapter 23

1 And HaShem spoke unto Moses, saying:

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: The appointed seasons of HaShem, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My appointed seasons.

so........G-d is telling Moses to tell THE JEWS, who are the Children of Israel............nowhere does it say to tell the people who will one day believe in "my only begotten son" and no where does it say to tell the people of the other nations of the world

it is directed specifically at the children of Israel, the Jews!

Jesus said in Luke 22: 19 Also, he took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying: “This means my body which is to be given in YOUR behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” 20 Also, the cup in the same way after they had the evening meal, he saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in YOUR behalf.

We follow his command of remembering his death, with wine and unleavened bread, but when? Jesus died on Nisan 14 33 C.C of the Jewish calendar, approximately March 31 in or calendar (+ or - 1 to 2 days). We had our memorial last Arpil 2, 2007, Monday.

Christians repent, and become a Jew. Jesus himself says that he is not god, and other bible verses prove that he can not be the Messiah. Here are two:

1. Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.

2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.

These are from the NEW Testement.

Also: Jesus in John 14:12 & Mark 16:17-18 said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." This implies that Jesus’ true followers should be able to routinely perform the following tricks: 1) cast out devils, 2) speak in tongues, 3) take up serpents, 4) drink poisons without harm, and 5) cure the sick by touching them and MANY other of Jesus’ "works". Curiously I have yet to see a Christian that can do any of the above on demand.

The reason they are not able to fulfill any of Jesus' promises is because Jesus was NOT the messiah, he was a false prophet, and that is why the Jews had him killed. The Jews were right to have him killed because according to the bible:

1. If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, "You shall not live, because you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord." When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall thrust him through. (Zechariah 13:3 NAB)

2. Suppose there are prophets among you, or those who have dreams about the future, and they promise you signs or miracles, and the predicted signs or miracles take place. If the prophets then say, 'Come, let us worship the gods of foreign nations,' do not listen to them. The LORD your God is testing you to see if you love him with all your heart and soul. Serve only the LORD your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. The false prophets or dreamers who try to lead you astray must be put to death, for they encourage rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of slavery in the land of Egypt. Since they try to keep you from following the LORD your God, you must execute them to remove the evil from among you. (Deuteronomy 13:1-5 NLT)

3. But any prophet who claims to give a message from another god or who falsely claims to speak for me must die.' You may wonder, 'How will we know whether the prophecy is from the LORD or not?' If the prophet predicts something in the LORD's name and it does not happen, the LORD did not give the message. That prophet has spoken on his own and need not be feared. (Deuteronomy 18:20-22 NLT)

The Lord your God has commanded you to disregard Jesus, and those that follow him will be put to death!

Repent, or forever be doomed to sheol!
