It sounds to me like he wants the best of both worlds, without pausing to think how his actions might make you feel, which, from the sounds of it, is not good!! Then the question is How dare he, would you do this to him? Probably not, tell him if your going to remains friends than friends is all you'll ever be in the future too!
You deserve more than to be half way house for anybody!

Sounds like you have become 2nd fiddle and his security blanket. I'd bet a dollar to doughnuts that he is trying to date some other girl and just wants you to hang out in case it doesnt work out with her.I could be wrong though. He may be planning a carreer and want to put off having a really heavy serious relationship until he gets intohis career.

Aha, this sounds like he havnt found a new love yet and is using you as a stepping stone or standby for comparision when he meets his next. otherwise, its like you said, not in love with you anymore but still attracted. In which case, its physical lust. It wont last my friend. Unless he does not meet anyone similar or almost in life to substitute for you.

Why commit when you don't have to? He wants everything to remain as it was, only now he is free to do whatever else he wants to and because there is no commitment, you have no right to call him on anything! If you want to be a friend, be one , but without the fringe benefits. Don't play his game because if you do, you will no doubt lose!

If he's saying he doesn't wanna be with you...don't force the issue. Think about it: How many guys have you seen that were attractive and nothing else? Just because you are attarcted to somebody doesn't mean you HAVE to be with them

cos he has someone else in mind...he wants to have his cake and eat it too sweetie. don't let him. If he loves you then he wouldn't think twice about having you be just a friend. cut him off and set him straight. you deserve better and if you let him do this to you, he will keep you on that string from ever. Pls dont let him do this to you. Good luck

i wouldn't take this lightly because guys actually take ages to actually make such a radical statement like that. I think he respects you and feels sorry that he isn not in love with you.
i would be grateful that he was strong enough to tell you his true feelings and i would try to avoid him for at least couple of months.

He might feel that the relationship is movie too fast and he might want to slow it down so you can spend more time getting to know eachother instead of always doing something physical.

Dude maybe he's cheating on you. Just talk to him about the whole thing. Maybe he likes another girl to and he's trying to decide who to be with....Truth hurts sometimes!
