Look for where the files are being storred by click on the file of a previously downloaded one and then when finding where it is double click on it to play. Microsoft media player should play the files as they are likly to be MP3 format.

And it does not matter if it is the free verson or not.

PS

You are not stupid for asking..... check some of the answers you will receive and decied who the stupid ones are. ;-)

Just a note on safety here. Ensure that you have scanned each of those files for malware. Limewire is famous for it.

go to Tools -> Options
it should open the Saving panel, if not select it from the list on the Left. the first box in the panel should be Save Folder. navigate to that path to find the files.

Look for the tab that says library and click on it. once you click on it, you will see all of the files you have downloaded. you can double click on them to play or right click and select play. Its that easy. Hope that helped!!

Just click on the song twice and it should play, assuming that you have a media player in your PC.
If you haven't got one, downdoad "Power DVD" free off the net.
If you haven't got speakers, use earphones, plug into the tower.
