It's a tough choice I know, but mine would have to be Paula Deen. She's so funny and isn't afraid to use butter! LOL

I agree mine is Paula Deen too. SHe is just awesome. SHe is a true southern belle. The things that she cooks with is things that most of us have in the kitchen and most kids will eat. But i like Rachel Ray too she is a hoot.
But I was the Chefography on Paula the other nite and it gave me a whole new respect for her and the road she has been down.

Although I too, like Paula Dean, my personal favorite would have to be Rachel Ray. I have three children so her program for 30 minute meals and her program 40 dollars a day really do help and apeal to a mother of 3.

I do love Paula Deen and I also love Rachel Ray because they are real people and I can follow their recipes. Not too many exotic ingredients.

Paula Deen, she is a true southern cook. As as you stated she's not afraid to use butter in her recipes. I love her sense of humor and she's not afraid to tell it like it is.

Right now it's Michael Chiarello with Paula Dean and Emeril close in the running. But Emeril only if it's his stand-alone show, not the one with the studio audience.

It's really hard for me to choose because I have three favorites and they are Giada De Laurentiis, Emeril Lagasse, and Alton Brown. Everyday Italian, Emeril Live, Essence of Emeril, and Good Eats are my favorite shows on the Food Network.

I love them all, I'm addicted to the Food Network, but my favorite would have to be Rachael Ray. Her energy and bubbliness keep you so interested in what she's doing....and the food always looks so amazing and easy to make! I also like Giada and Tyler Florence.
