My cat is on a steady diet. We haven't changed anything. I can tell she eats too fast and when she vomits, it is pretty much whole pieces of food. Is there anyway to get a cat to eat slower and take their time chewing so she doesn't puke???

Don't give her too much food at a time. Only 1/3 cup of dry food twice a day. Give him only a half a can of wet food twice a day. You might want to see the vet. A cat who is vomiting can become dehydrate and can die.

Depending on the age and the health of the cat, it could be that she isn't getting enough to eat.

I have two cats and a busy work schedule. If I miss feeding them for a few hours, when they do eat, they will eat like they've never eaten before... and promptly throw up whole chunks of food.

If nothing has changed with the food, given the recent pet food scares, and the cat has a clean bill of health, then perhaps her appetite has grown and she isn't getting enough to eat. Try feeding her a little bit more, or smaller portions more often to help her get back on track.

Try giving her smaller portions more frequently so she can't eat herself sick. But first, make sure her food isn't one of those on Recall.

And take her for a check-up to make sure she hasn't gotten sick. It could be that she simply needs her teeth cleaned, and a course of antibiotics.

well you may want to switch foods...purina one makes a sensitive systems formula you may want to try...it works for mine that had similiar problems to what you are describing...also on the bag tells how to transition the new food...sold at walmart about $5 for the small bag 3.5lbs or $9 for the larger bag around 7lbs
