take it as a compliment, he feels comfortable, relaxed and happy in your company. Would you prefer he was uptight????

as other people have said, it goes with the comfort in your relationship. within a household, we do many things in front of one another that we would not do in public, it is not rude AT HOME, of course. There is however, the difference between the childish belch, and the belch which comes after drinking a carbonated soda or eating a large meal.
if you ask people who have lived together or been married a couple years, they now probably both do things in front of each other that (especially women) would die if it happened on a first date.

I can answer this easily. Depending on how long you hung out before you became boyfriend and girlfriend is the courting process. This just means that men and women try to act a certain way when they first meet. Examples would be not burping, combing his hair, showering all the time, using cologne, etc. After a certain point men become comfortable with their woman and think that the courting process is over and they have you. When I was with my old girlfriend, looking back the same things happened. To summarize it all for you, that is the real him. Ask him to introduce you to the "dutch oven, mwwahahahaha.

Take it as a compliment, he feels comfortable with you. Actually belching is considered very polite in some societies.

Right after you dropped that nasty stink bomb in the car. Gee, I guess because he didn't realize you were so perfect that he could not let one rip. He's a guy. If you want a non-burper, find some pretty boy at the polo field. Hopefully he doesn't spend his riches on blow and cars and won't beat on you like many of them do.
Kinda makes a burp not so bad now doesn't it.

I think he shouldn't be your boyfriend if you don't let him belch in front of you. sometimes that happens.

You have entered "the real relationship zone", my little prince does the same thing. My 2 favourites are when he drops what I call the silent killers and walks away and leaves me holding the bag, or lets one rip in bed and pulls the covers over my head and yells welcome to Geoff's Kitchen. But then again he is only 37 he has not hit maturity yet.

It just means that he now feels comfortable enough around you to do that. It's a good sign. Wait until it comes out the other end, then you'll know he's in it for the long haul. Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Did he say excuse me? Was it the one and only accidental time? This is good since whatever he does now will be magnified after marriage and thats what dating is for: to see if this person meets your standards of excellence. No use saying something to him since he would stifle for a while and then return to his comfortable habits. So think objectively about him. Good for you for realizing it wasn't polite.
