Fat cells do not store water, only extra calories. Those people usually get really sick because they don't give themselves any nutrients.

No, fat cells store fat. Those who eat nothing are losing (in this order) water weight, muscle weight, and waste weight. No fat is lost. Rather, the body hangs onto it - literally - for dear life. The weight they lose is not conducive to actual weight loss and works against a long term solution for a healthy diet.

it is very unhealthy way to lose weight, actually fasting ik if once a month for detoxing the body but this is no way to lose weight permanently, the lost weight will def. creep back. Here is the permanent weight loss solution...

at first they lose water weight and then muscle mass, fat is metabolized last. most people with eating disorders have a high percentage of body fat as a direct result of poor eating habits and periods of starvation
