I wonder what kind of clothes should I pack ( I am coming from Europe ) and what's the winter like there up in North Qld.
Could I swim or is the water too cold?
Is it goo d to sunbathe?
Last but not least, is Palm Cove a very lively place to be? What could I do as for shopping, restaurants etc.?
Thanks a lot!!

Weather will probably be quite warm (mid 20's celcius) and the water will be warm enough to swim in. The sun is too harsh to sunbathe and Australians are being urged to never do it for the increased risk of skin cancer.
Palm Cove is quite small but it has quite a few resorts so there may be a few things to do to keep yourself busy for a while. When you get bored there, take a trip into Cairns and you will find a lot more things to do.
There are so many different things to do for day trips from Palm Cove - taking the train up to Kuranda and the skyrail down, and taking a trip to the reef are two things you must do.
