1 cup tomato juice
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 lbs ground beef
1 can campbell condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 package ore-ida frozen tater tots
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Combine first six ingredients and mix well.
3. Add ground beef, completely combining mixture.
4. Spread evenly in a 13x9 inch baking pan.
5. Top with a single layer of tater tots (you may have a few left over).
6. Pour cheddar cheese soup over the tater tots.
7. (stirring the soup with a spoon as you pour makes it come out of the can a little easier).
8. Bake for one hour.
Fabulous with ketchup.

Tater-Tot Casserole
1 lb. ground beef
1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup
1 can Veg-All (or canned corn)
1 pkg Tater Tots
1 pkg cheddar cheese
Brown ground beef until done. Drain well and place in bottom of a casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Drain Veg-All (or corn) and spread on top of burger. Spread soup on top of veggies and sprinkle with cheese. Arrange tater tots on top of cheese and spray with cooking spray to help make them brown. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
You can also use Cheddar Cheese soup or Cream of Mushroom. I like to brown my hamburger with a little onion and salt & pepper to taste.

My Mom used to put raw ground beef in an 8x8 dish, put a drained can of mix veggies on that, put tater tots on top of that and cover it with a cream of mushroom soup. I suppose you could use cheddar cheese soup and any variation of veggies or none at all if you wish.
This was my most UNFAVORITE dinner, by the way :)
And to Cister, above: WHERE'S THE BEEF.

Tater-Tot Casserole
1 pound ground beef
1 can (10.75 ounces) cheddar cheese condensed soup
1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of mushroom condensed soup
1 1/2 cup milk or sour cream or mixture of the two
1 package (1 pound) tater tots (potato rounds, gems)
1/4 pound each Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
Seasonings, if desired
Preheat oven to 375 F. Brown ground beef in medium saucepan; drain. Add soup and milk (and seasonings, if desired). Mix together and heat on medium-high setting. Stir frequently to avoid scorching. Add 3/4 of cheese and continue to stir until cheese has melted. In 9 x 13-inch baking dish, arrange tater tots in single layer on bottom.
Pour soup mixture over the top, spreading evenly over all tater tots. Sprinkle remainder of cheese over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until centre is bubbly.
Hamburger-Tater Casserole
Ingredients:
1 pound hamburger
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 bag Tater Tots
Not glamourous but tasty nonetheless. My kids would live on this if I'd let them.
In glass baking dish, put 1 pound hamburger in bottom. Make sure to flatten with hand. Spread on chicken soup mix evenly over hamburger. Add Tater Tots to top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
TATER TOT CASSEROLE
1 (32-ounce) package frozen potato rounds
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (10.75 ounce) can cheddar soup
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch-baking dish. Arrange tater tots in the prepared baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cheese, and mushroom soup.
Pour this mixture over the tater tots. Sprinkle onions over the top of the casserole. Bake in the 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 45 to 60 minutes
