Here in California, the neighbors complain about the jingle, and there's a safety issue about kids running into the street suddenly. The city just banned the ice cream trucks, it's sad.

We get two different ones twice a day. It's a pain. Especially with 3 kids and these Ice Creams aren't cheap.

I actually heard an ice cream van a few days ago, I think they'll be back this summer. The weather's been quite temperamental the last few weeks.

We don't get ice cream trucks anymore. We get ice cream CARS with the ice cream in a cooler on the back seat. Kind of creepy that it's done this way now.

Our did Greesleeves when I was a kid.
What happened to the fish and chip van too? Thursday night when mum worked late, it was fantastic. Fish and chips and Star Trek.

We do still hear them but we just don't notice them as such any more. Either it is because we are growing older or there are so many polyphonic ringtones about.... lol x
