Why do guys say they prefer bigger women?

Guys are always saying that they prefer bigger, healthier looking girls but then why don't they put it into practice. In my school the guys only ever ask out the girls who look half anorexic etc. I'm underweight (technically) put guys will still say I'm fat. Guys who say that are lyin its a load of crap!

i think when a guy falls in love with a girl and wants to marry her he wont care that much for appearance. he may prefer to have a wife who has a beautiful face and body, but for him behavior and personality will be the most important thing, but when teen guys want to have just a girlfriend or a partner to have sex with, they choose mostly skinny girls who look like models and actresses, because thats what they are fantasizing by looking at movies and magazines. They may even date a girl with silicone boobs, but it when it comes to marriage they want a girl who is naturaly beautiful and healthy.

Seems the people, guys, you hang out with want a skinny model. Better to have a good friend and a nice woman rather than one of the walking dead.
I suggest that you are not fat and if you want your body in shape swimming and a good diet. You can start this week!

I am tall and healthy, and I prefer a healthy looking girl. I don't like super skinny girls. I prefer them to be a little thick, but not fat. I know lots of people that think the skinnier the better, but not me. if you are big-boned, there's nothing you can do about your large appearance, and you'll come across a guy like me eventually, who prefers a a girl like you. Don't worry about it! It's all good! You'll find a man!

Because most men fantasise about what they see in all the magazines. Unfortunately this is what the media drum into them we all should look like. Why they can't show real women in magazines instead of stick insects I don't know. It's hardly surprising women have not much self esteem if thats what we have to live up to. And they say it's not sexist....it effin is.

boyz will take a skinny girl even if they are less compatible. lets face it teens are cruel and in most clicks there would be repercussions for dating the heavier girl. a man will take a more compatible bigger women any day of the week. listening to someone complain about having no energy or strength yet they still don't eat gets old fast, in about 10 seconds.

High School guys are incapable of appreciating a woman's shape. They like skinny because that's what MTV tells them to like. Older men however, enjoy curves, boobs, and everything in between. Good Bless men over 21!!

I guess that depends on the person, their age, their peers and the image they want to project to others of them selves. For that very reason I used to date skinny women because it was fashionable, however now that I’ve matured and in my 30’s I don’t really care about what others think of me dating overweight people…..its was all down to me being shallow and the fear of not being accepted by my PEERS.

the guys at school are imature and when they are older they will change.

i am 24 and when i was a size 16 i got more men chatting me up then what i do now im a 12.
in the end i know im more healthy now and i like myself better for losing the weight. learn to like yourself.
