help with lock combinations?

I just found my lock for my bike and I forgot what the combination is.. is there any way to reset the combo?

It depends. What kind of combo lock is it? If it is the standard master type combination lock with a single dial that you turn to the right left and than right, you cannot reset it. If it is the type in which you line up parallel dials to read a combination, you can reset it. However, you must have the lock open in order to do it.

If this is the kind of lock that you have, you can undo the dials by removing the spring clip from the end and realigning the dials. Pop the spring clip back in when you are happy with the combo and you're done.
