i think after five years u can have your record es ponged. i would suggest you ask a lawyer for that type of thing.

The only way it to petition the courts to have your records purged. Sorry Charlie! I've seen lots of this in my job. It isn't easy, especially depending on what your convictions were for. Some things the courts will not remove.

unfortunately, the world says once a felon always a felon. our society does not beleive that people can change so they are always branded with the name of a felon.

I hate to tell you this, but your rap sheet is not like your credit report. You can't call the authorities and make a deal to have your convictions removed. Unless you are on first offender status, then the convictions on your rap sheet are never going to go away. Good luck to you.

5 years...you may ask the court halfway through your probation to get off probation if you are on probation...but it takes 5 years to get your record clean. good luck and stay out of trouble!!
