its ok when we go half and haf but like on certain days he dosen't want to pay. is he using me?

Next time you go out just have no money on you. It isn't fair that you always have to pay. He might be using you

Next time the two of you go out, leave your money at home. Do that a few times and he'll either get the idea or you'll know he is just using you if he still doesn't step up and act like a man.

You mean you actually have not yet said anything to him? It's really easy, just tell him when around him but not in a restaurant.
Have an understanding prior to going out to eat, or alternate, paying the check.
He is taking advantage of you now since he's able to get away with it. Take charge, girl!

I don't know if he's using you or just taking advantage that you do pay when he doesn't. You need to talk to him about it. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think that it is him who should pay most of the times, if not all the times. I don't think that his refusal to pay for things is a good sign.

Been there before more than likely if he is working also then he is using you. Either that or he is spending it on things he doesnt want you knowing about. You just have to ask him why he cant pay on those days that he doesnt want to. Dont be scarred that he is going to be mad. If he gets mad then he is hiding something.

YES...it is an age old rule...I know, I am old fashioned...but the guy asks you out and he is supposed to pay for the date unless it is understood upfront that it is dutch (half & half)
I just had a talk with my daughter on this who is spending her whole check paying for things for her boyfriend and doing without herself...she is 17
You should let him know that it is not your job to support him...it is cool to go half & half, but if he asks you out from now on it is up to him to take care of the bill.
There are lots of men out there who use women in this way, BUT they can only use you if you let them.
Tell him this and see if he sticks around or moves on.
Stick to your guns...it is NOT your job to support him.

yes he is using you, refuse to pay, take him for a meal and then get up to go to the loo just before the bill comes but leave instead that will teach him.

Guys mainly do what we allow them to. Just stop paying he will have to and if he is using you for your money and you stop paying then his true intentions will show.

-oh HELL yes! and don't fall for it either! he's a loser! if a man can't pay his own way, AND pay for his girlfriend MOST of the time as well, he's a LOSER!! DUMP HIM!!! There are WAY to many GOOD MEN out there to settle for a tight wad!! YOU deserve better!! move on to it!!
