I love them. Is it just racism ?

Many people dislike the flavor of licorice and that is the flavor that is used for black jelly beans. The flavor is also referred to as anise. I am not sure why so many people hate that flavor, I personally like it but I would assume it is one of those flavors you either hate or love.

Some people do like black jelly beans, it isn't racism or some people would never eat chocolate.

People tend to have an inferiority complex with black food...imagine black eggs, black ketchup..black milk??!! ahh but personally i think all sweets taste the same so i have no problem with them..infact they usually taste of blackberries :) mmm! xox

I can't eat them since they're licorice. I can't eat anise/fennel either. I get a raging headache from them. I'm happy to share the black ones with anyone who wants them!
