"First, we can affirm that besides those in Christ's church, there will be the faithful from many generations on the other side of the cross. The righteous from both the patriarchal and Mosaic dispensations will be there. These pre-date the church Jesus established. Also, heaven will be inhabited by the souls of those who are 'safe' (including the mentally handicapped and retarded, young children who die before reaching an age of accountability, the aborted, etc.). These are blessed not by virtue of their conscious obedience to the gospel but through their innocence."
Yes, the non-christians described above will be in heaven!
For those of us who live after the cross, we must come to Christ for our salvation!
Jesus said, "if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24)
Jesus is the only "mediator between God and man" (1 Timothy 2:5) Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:16)
Jesus said, ""Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32-33)
If you will not confess Jesus before men, then he will not confess you before the Father. In the day of judgement, he will say "I never knew you: depart from me." (Matthew 7:21)
How will anyone approach the Father with any hope of eternal salvation, being guilty of sin (Romans 3:23) and without Christ to mediate on his behalf?
Jesus said, "He that believes not shall be damned" (Mark 16:16).
John 3:18 says, "He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
If anyone can be saved without Jesus, then the Bible is wrong and Jesus is wrong also.

If you believe that you have to add something to what Jesus did on the cross, to get into Heaven, you are not a Christian, because you don't understand what being saved is.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, NO MAN CAN come to the Father without Jesus!
so the answer to your question is, NO non-christians cannot get into Heaven. If doing good deeds would get you into Heaven, Jesus would not of had to suffer on the cross for your sins. The blood of Jesus was used to pay for your sins and good works won't pay for your sins.

If our salvation depended on our own good works and whether or not we had been good enough, then you would be right—we never could be sure if we were going to heaven. After all, how could you know whether or not you had been good enough? You couldn't.
But listen: You and I will never be good enough! The reason is because God's standard is nothing less than perfection—and you and I will never be perfect. You see, many people think God must have a set of scales or balances in His hand, and He puts our good deeds on one side of the balance and our bad deeds on the other. If our good deeds outweigh our bad deeds, they think, then He will let us into heaven.
But this isn't true. God is pure and holy, and even one sin would be enough to keep you out of heaven—just one. And that is why we need Christ. He came for one reason: to become the perfect and final sacrifice for our sins. When He died on the cross, all our sins were placed on Him. He took upon Himself the sin and punishment we deserve, and He died in our place.
Can we know we are saved? Yes—when we trust Christ alone for our salvation. Ask Christ to come into your life today, and trust Him—and not yourself—for your salvation. Then believe God's promise to you, for it is true: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

Look at the definition of Christian. A person who is in Christ. You are either against Christ, or for Him. Those who believe that He died and rose again as atonement for our sins go to heaven. Think about your question, can a person who does not believe in God go to God's house. The answer is no. And as for works, God doesn't need our works to credit us salvation. Yes, we should do good to others, but the works don't get us into heaven.

I believe only God can judge that. But if you believe that Jesus as risen from the dead and is the son of God, with all your heart, soul and mind, then you will go to heaven. Thats all you have to do, believe and do God's biddings.

I think so. I don't think heaven is reserved only for Christians, half the world is non-Christian.
I believe the thought that only Christians are eligible is actually selfish. It's basically telling everyone on earth that they must believe exactly what you do to get rewarded.
I think that living a good and just life, avoiding hurting others and basically following the commandments (which are really a guide for living a just life) will earn entry.

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)
" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)
Does that answer your question?

who said they can't? Jesus loves every single one of us that's why he died for us and resurrected. it's just that people are not perfect which makes them sin all the time which means that we have to keep on repenting every now and then in order to get to heaven coz Jesus discourages sinning.everybody has a free ticket to heaven.it's your choice on how you'll use it
