My cat just had her first birthday not even a month ago, and she is already pregnant! I didn't even know that this was possible! Is my cat a prostitute?

well could be, but I thank someone left the door or window opened,and since she is only working for cash, you might as well get her prepared with vits,vet. visit and stock up on cat and kitty food, litter, and tell her not to do it again unless you know. I bet she will say PURRFIC.

Know your cat is normal I was so stupid my cat got pregnant when she was only eight months, she's fixed now but anytime after 5 to 6 months they can breed so fix your baby and you won't have to put her through that any more. Also there are so many unwanted strays out in the world don't contribute. Good luck and start looking for good homes now and write back when the kittens are born, you'll need to socialize them young. Like two weeks old so ask for help with it. That way people will want the kittens more. Good luck

Cats can get pregnant as early as 6 months. If you do not want kittens then you need to get her fixed. After this litter is weaned call you vet and get it done. It is just a cats nature to mate, just like it is human nature to mate. Only cats do it to carry on their species. Humans sometimes do it for fun, So to answer your question. NO your cat is not a prostitute. Anyway prostitutes get paid. Is she carrying any money.

what???? cat normally go in heat even before they turn one~my cat had her first bunch of kittens(who is now fixed) when she was 10 months old~so she got pregnant when she was about 7 to 8 months old~
so to answer your question your cat is not a prostitute~she is a healthy normal everyday cat!! good luck with your new upcoming kittens!!

If she is, that would make you the pimp for not getting her spayed.
Cats need to be spayed/neutered from 5 months of age. I've seen pregnant cats as young as 4 months old.
Please get her done once she has had the kittens so she doesn't have to go through this again.

don't they teach you anything in shool..
if you do not have your female cat spayed she will come on heat attracting all sorts of male suitors.. not only will she get pregnant but she will be at risk of catching lots of horrid infections from the males ... especially if she hasn't been injected .. please tell me you had her injected ???

They can get pregnant even before 1 year of age - thats why you have them spayed!!!! Then you have no worries.
