You sure can! Raw eggs are very good for dogs.
Don't listen to those claiming salmonella, while there is a chance for it, it's very small.
Ever eat raw cookie dough?

Dogs can get sick from salmonella just like people, so it's a good idea to give boiled eggs, not raw.

Some people are wrong! :)
I wouldn't give it to my dogs. Raw eggs may harbor salmonella, which causes food poisoning. Some of the recent recalls on dog treats were due to salmonella. (I am not talking about the wheat gluten issue here but another recall altogether, on pizzles and rawhides.)
If you are just doing it to improve his coat, there are much safer products on the market, such as DreamCoat or Nutricoat, or if you want to use something out of the pantry, try a tablespoon of olive oil over the food.

I wouldn't chance it, due to the salmonella risk. Cooked eggs mixed in with the dog's food should be okay, however. Or, you could try one of those gravy-type dog foods or mix canned food in with the dry. Just make sure the brand you use isn't one on the recall list.

It would be the same as putting a raw egg over your own food. It might be OK, but then the egg might have Salmonella - which is the bacteria we're trying to destroy when we cook eggs. So I wouldn't advise it, particularly as there's no known health benefit. Sounds like an old wives tale to me!

You can, but I think I would cook it for him because if raw eggs are not good for us, I do not think if would be good for the dog.

I boil my dogs eggs and cut it up in their food, or give it to them whole (without the shell of course!) to eat.
I don't advise raw egg...you could contaminate your floor or other areas with salmonella.
Please book mark my site and refer to it for current recalls on pet foods!

Raw eggs may (probably do) contain salmonella. It's not worth taking a chance.

Cooked egg, yes, (in moderation, not every day). Raw egg, NEVER.
