the weight will really hinder your joints and if you have a physical job then this too will hurst the tendons and cause pressure on all your joints. I found with my job and age (42) that I was in agony every day. I was about 35 pounds overweight and my knees, back and even ankles hurt a lot. A friend who had lost quite a bit of weight recommended a good place to me where I got great advice and good products that have helped me. Try www.myhealthabc.net, the guy who is the main nutritonal coach wa really helpful and not only got my joints working properly in quick time but has helped me to lose over 25 pounds in less than four months. The products are easy to use and they follow up every week (at least) to ensure you are ok, track your progress and make any changes if needed. The service is excellent. Getting older doesnt have to hard, just get the help, I did and it works. I hope this helps you, good luck

This is not meant to be a criticism...just a fact. If you will take off some weight, the stress on your joints will lessen and so should the stiffness. I know personally that the body is less and less forgiving as time passes!

Allergies to dust mites is probably the answer.
You should buy a new pillow every 6 to 8 months.New mattress every 10 to 15 yrs. Your mattress holds approx. 20lbs of mites and dust after 15yrs.
