What exactly are the beliefs of the specific sect of Muslims that attacked the U.S.?

i am just trying to make some sense out of their beliefs...if any of you know any thing i would appreciate if you helped me out...serious answers please

Hard to make since of it.History is littered with these kind of things. They are just yellow low life that prey on the innocent because they think someone wronged them. They have convinced themselves because they have never been able to rule a country without the boot on some body's neck. They have a serious flaw and don't seem to put blame where it belongs. All their country's are run by despots who have used their faith to control the masses. They suck off oil money to build golf courses in the sand while the poor don't have decent drinking water.Somehow they have convinced the Muslim world it is our fault. In case you haven't noticed we pay for all the oil we get. That is all we are interested in.The populace should be on easy street.instead they strap a bomb on their backside and kill some innocent person usually of their own faith.Unbelievable.You could go to the Koran and find passages but that is not really the problem.Just a old guys opinion

The purpose of islam from the beginning was to rule the entire world...Islam was spread over most of the earth by forced conversions and killing of those who would not accept islam.. The crusades were to stop this world takeover... Alas jihad is back in full force.. Currently islam is killing in over half the countries on earth...9-11 was just part of this ongoing jihad..9-11 was indeed based on the teachings of the koran and islam...If there were no koran there would have been no 9-11 or London 7-7 or the murder of the Russian school children.. or Sudan where millions have been killed. The list of killing began with mohamed and continues today.. islam professes peace while they cut off heads.Not only is islam a killing machine it is also a complete lie from beginning to ending...islam is based on the lie that ishamel was the chosen son of Abrham.. and on the lie that mohamed was the prophet like moses of deut 18-18...These two lies are the foundation of islam...Their lies continue about Jesus and the Bible.. islam contridicts every word of the Bible and the life of jesus..Only satan would try to destroy not just Christianity but the entire world as islam is doing..9-11 was a fatal mistake for islam.. Shortly after, god began revealing to people that islam was not a religion but a lie and a killing cult and of satan..Muslim children are taught in muslim schools to hate and kill chirstians and jews and unbeleivers.. this is precisely where the homocide sucide bombers originate.. there are millions of these brainwashed muslims.. The purpose of usa trying to establish freedom in the m.e. was to free muslims from this insanity via freedom..This would have been better than the alternative if these are left unchecked.But i fear it is not possible to turn a sows ear into a slik purse and the mission is failing.. not because of usa but because evil has been programed into them so deep it is not possible to reprogram them.One last thing.. The middle east was the birth place of Christianity and Judism..the islamic jihad killed and displaced or forced converions on these until most were gone.. and then they stole the land.. Same as they are still doing on this earth inch by inch...and one more little known fact.. most pirates who killed and plundered and kidnapped were muslims..The usa stopped this piracy on the high seas whenThomas Jefferson was president.. this is the reason Thomas Jeffferson had a koran in his possession.. it was to see what insanity drove these killers..the muslim pirates hyjacked the uss philadelphia.the usa marine theme song contains the line ""from the halls of Montezuma to the SHORES OF TRIPOLI we will fight our countrys battles""It was Tripolian muslims who hyjacked the us ship.. Bad mistake for them.. it ended piracy on the high seas.. Will these people ever learn not to mess with usa ..it will bring the end of islam ,,

It's really immaterial because we were not attacked for religious reasons but due to needless deaths of their own innocents at our hands. This was the main reason:

It's political reason coated with religious beliefs.
Although they call themselves Muslims, in Islam it is forbidden to kill others and commit suicide.

For political reasons, that guy is right. The U.S. did support Saddam Hussein so to their eyes, we are the bad guys. An American scholar wrote this statement in a article:

So, thanks to the sanctions and also supporting Saddam many innocent people were killed. Sanctions are wrong in my opinion. They only hurt the people that have nothing to do with the government.
The terrorists are fighting back, because to them we are the enemies. However, I think that their actions are wrong. They are only setting themselves up for failure.
Also, hurting innocent people will never get people to listen and respect you.
They should have taken a more peaceful route.

They did not reflect any particular sect of Islam; they went against the fundamental tenets of Islam and committed mass murder. By Islamic law, they deserved to be punished with death. Murder of innocent people is punishable by capital punishment in Islamic law and this was nothing but massacre to malign the name of this religion. It is good that you asked this question instead of simply hating all Muslims; that was their objective, to malign this religion's name and to make the world hate it.
I do not blame the millions of families who as a result of this tragedy, have come to hate all of us. THIS is the success those suicide hijackers sought.
To me, they were not even Muslims but a bunch of heartless murderers who decided to kill innocent people in the name of a religion which has nothing to do with massacre.
