I would recommend you to go to a professional piercing salon. Of course it is going to hurt a little, but the pain should not last nearly as long if you go to a professional. Hope this helps.

My aunt tried to pierce her nose at home and paralyzed her face. It's best to go to a professional. Make sure they have an autoclave and make sure it is in working order. Also, if they try to use a piercing gun, RUN! The needles in piercing guns are NOT hollow and will cause lots of scar tissue to bump up and are more likely to become infected. Needles need to be hollow to make room for the piercing. Also, do not use a ring when you first get it done. It will pull bacteria in to the piercing if you touch it or rotate it.
I hope your dad lets you, it can look very classy as long as the ring isn't too big or flashy.

I suggest going to a professional piercing salon. Your piercing could get infected (or worse) if you choose to try and do it yourself. Yes, the salon might be slightly more expensive, but it is definitely more worth it to have someone who knows what they are doing. If it's the cost at the salon that you're worried about, check out some of your town's piercing salons and compare prices. If any friends or relatives that live close by have a nose piercing, ask them what salon they went to and whether or not they recommend it. Doing it yourself can be dangerous. Hope this helped.

More than if you have it done professionally, and you run a much higher risk of infections and other complications. Just go to a pro and have it done right.

It hurts to do it anywhere !!! Good lord girl !!!!! The nose is one of the tenderest spots to poke holes in !!!!!! If you are going to do it get it done professionally !! And be prepared to have tears running out of your eyes and pain shooting up your nose and out the top of your head !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OOOOOOoooouuuuuuuuucccccccccchhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!

one of my besties did it and she said it did hurt a little, but about a month ago she got it redone by a pro and said it hurt less but she was more scared. Your best bet is to see a professional, and if your dad wont let you, then im not exactly sure wut to tell ya
