Call your local SPCA alot of them have programs that you can recieve a certificate to have it done for free. In our area hey call it the S.N.A.P program (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) and you can have it done as long as your dog is current on all vaccinations. You may want to check into that. Otherwise all you can do is call around and ask different vets. Prices vary in different areas. We also have a place called the Spay/Neuter Clinic and they do it for far less than the local vets but that is all they do there is spay and neuter animals. They are good and very cheap. Our family vet charged over $120. and the spay neuter clinic charged $55. So also check and see if you have a plcae like that locally. Good luck and so glad to hear you are being a responsible pet owner!!!!!!!!!!!

Some vets charge up to $500 to get a female dog spayed. Only go to them if you have $$ to spend. There are low cost vets and shelters that will do it for under $50, some even for free in some areas. There is NO difference between the $50 and $500 operation in terms of risk to your dog. I worked at a vet in a high class neighborhood and they charged that much for "anesthetic monitoring" which was just me, an unlicensed vet tech watching the dog while it was waking up from surgery. They also added charges for blankets for it to sleep on while it work up etc. All the animals I've gotten fixed through the rescue I foster for have been perfectly fine after wards. In many cases for low cost you need to make an appointment a couple weeks to months in advance -- so call around now and see who has the best date that works for you. At an average vet I'd say it costs around $200.

I don't know which country you're from, but I can tell you in England the price of a ***** spay ranges from about £120-£250. It can also vary depending on the size/breed of the dog. Best to ring around your nearest practice to get quotes over the phone, this is the quickest and most accurate way - the odds of you finding someone on here who happens to come from your area and knows the prices is fairly slim!
Just a warning I wouldn't go for the lowest of low prices, as I would be questioning why a vet would be charging so low - are they using old-fashioned drugs, rubbish suture materials, do they have proper sterilisation techniques etc.

My dog cost me about $250. It depends on where they are in their cycle also. I would look to see if there are any organizations that assist people with the cost. Where I live, there are quite a few because spaying is a very important thing to do.

A canines could be spayed or neutered earlier or after it has the two had domestic canines or used at stud.Age and wellbeing will verify whilst and protection of surgical technique.Letting a woman have a million clutter isn't neccessary for any reason yet whilst she has had domestic dogs and you do no longer prefer from now on getting her spayed earlier her next warmth would be super>As to the male having him neutered once you have used him at stud he could nevertheless save most of the "undesirable" conduct of an unneutered male canines,i.e. lifting leg and staining, additionally that embarrasing humping on human beings's legs that some seem to do:)

Well, I checked around and found a group of Vets that had a clinic called Cause for Paws which they opened in conjunction with area kennels to help people in the low income bracket ! They neuter males for 20 dollars and females for 35 dollars and they follow up a couple of times to make sure your pet is o.k.! Check the kennels around you, maybe you will be as lucky as I was !

it can cost just about any price depending on the place you go...in my town they have a neuter comuter. it is a bus that drives around to certain places in town. you can get your animal fixed there for about 50 dollars or less. also we can get a certificate for about 50 dollars for dogs that says we can get our animals fixed at our humane society(for ppl who cant pay the full amount). or we can get the certificate by volunteering a prespecifed number of hours at the humane society. this is what i am working at now...so there are a wide range of options...ask around and im sure you will find one.

I live in a really small town so I only pay around $100 or so. My brother lives in a big city so he had to pay more than 2x's that amount. I guess it depends on where you live but you should call around to all your local vets to get prices and soonest availability.

You are going to have to call around to the local veterinarians in your area. Remember, if it seems really cheap, that is also probably the level of care your dog will receive! Do your research, and good luck!

You'd have to call the vets around you. Also remember to tell them how much she weighs - the bigger she is the more it'll cost.
