I believe that she was absolutely devoted to Jesus and that his love for her was the same as his love for everyone. The bible tells us that Jesus was tempted by Satan but the one thing that sets him apart is the fact that he never gave into temptation and was completely without sin.

Mary Magdalene is an enigma, it is not surprising a lot of people think and associate her with so many attributes. What we do know about her makes all of this understandable. She was like a rock when Jesus suffered his biggest trial on earth -the Crucifixion, you would imagine by their closeness and her bravery attending the burial, that they were very close friends, and I believe it has crossed the mind of everybody at some stage that she and him were more than friends, even husband and wife. I opened all 7 chakras before saying the Lord's prayer so I understand the release of the 7 demons to actually mean something totally different, it is more like an initiation process where you answer questions to the beings guarding the 7 gates (chakras) you open to experience the tree of life, streams of living water.

Mary Magdalene was never a prostitute. The prostitute story was held to be mistaked and corrected by Pope John Paul II. He actually issued a statement saying that Mary Magdalene was never a prostitute.
As for the true nature of the relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus, I don't think we'll ever know for sure. The truth has been obscured by time and Church censorship.

The DaVinci code was fiction not historical fact
She was a follower of Jesus. Pope Paul VI repudiated the fact that there is evidence she had been a prostitute. We don't know in the 5th or 6th century when we first have a record of her being a prostitute that they had any documentation to that effect. Many have identified her as the one who washed Jesus' feet and had demons cast out of her. But the Gospels do not tell us that one of the demons cast out was prostitution. Even if she was, she reformed her life and became a devoted follower of Jesus.

its not Mary Magdalene that is mis represented here, its Satan. hay he ain't all that bad, he was just never going to get that promotion that he thought he was due. so in order to move up the pecking order he got together with some of his fellow work colleges and moved out to establish his own business. so Satan really is just a small business man trying to compete against a vast multinational organization in god.

She was one who had 7 demons.
Jesus cast them out and she became a follower.
She is mentioned 14 times in the Gospels.
Most of the time she is mentioned with Mary the mother of Jesus.
She is shown no position of special importance as is not His mother.

Whatever she was or was not, whatever she did or did not do, it would appear that many had a low opinion of her. Jesus didn't. He saw her and he treated her as she was, and loved her for what she was and what she could be. That was the way Jesus treated everyone he met.
She responded with love and with gratitude. Not surprising, really!

it seem's as though she has been misrepresented. i dont believe the de vinci code theory i believe she was as close to jesus as the disciples which made certain people of the day uncomfortable, hence the lies. ps i gave feminist the thumbs down for you, mistake rectified.
