The real difference is do you believe Jesus of history ever existed, that is the person Jesus Christ was a real person in history or a fictional character. If you believe that Jesus Christ was a real person in history, then there is no difference at all, Jesus of history and the Christ of Christianity are 2 and the same 1. The source of the problems and confusions actually come from the fact that different Christian churches and Islam actually have different accounts of his life story and Jewish simply denied him.
