Their faith does not require them to move to Israel, God offers and the choice, as God offers us a choice where to live and who to live with. Man sets of rules and expectations as does the State of Israel and the religious establishment.

Those are the Jews that mostly live in USA and financially support the Jews who are returning to Israel. Without the several million Jews in America the Jews in Israel would have ceasedto exist a few decades ago. It all works together. The day will come when they too will return but right now it is necessary that they be where they are.

Not all are religious.

Some are too religious. The ones that hate Israel are the ones that Israel doesn't require to pay taxes, yet still supports them. They spit at the IDF on Yom Hatzmaut yet are protected by them.

Despicable.

But the non-religious ones don't view Israel as a religious homeland because they're not religious.
