Oh, she's a cutie....but you must consider if this size dog, and this breed mix, is right for you. Do you have enough time to exercise an energetic lab mix puppy every day? Do you have enough room in your home for a 45 lb dog? Are you REALLY ready (financially and mentally) for the burden of a puppy? Do you have the time and knowledge ready to devote to a pup, for care and training? Think about your needs, and do some breed research to find out what breed/ mix would most likely be right for your household. Seriously, there are PLENTY of pups out there...maybe you should wait for one you AND your BF are both crazy about. Not to be the naysayer- but do you have a plan in place for what happens to the pup if you and your BF break up or have to move? Another thing to think about. I always post these websites to folks- but really, they do have great breed info!

She is adorable. When you go to adopt her, they will ask you all the neccesary questions to determine if you are ready for a dog. So, just go check her out with your boyfriend. Ask if you can take her home for a few days so you can see if she likes your home and if all three of you will bond. That way your boyfriend may be more open to receiving her. By the end of a few days, he and the pup will be napping together. Good luck.

Before you get any dog just ask your self if you are ready for that kind of commitment remember they make a mess pee on your floor. They can really make a mess of things just like having a baby you need to spend countless hours with this pet if you think you are ready for a full time job with what ever else you have going on then yes you should get a dog but think long and hard its easier to get them but not so easy to give them away.

Lovely dog, but the real question is should you get ANY dog? Are you ready for the commitment of time, energy, and money? If your boyfriend lives with you and doesn't like the dog or dogs in general, that could be a real problem.

absolutely not.. how could you get a dog from petfinder?? you want a pup from a breeder who has both parents there, so you will know the temperament, the look, etc. of your new dog.. you will want a pup from HEALTHY bloodlines ( esp. since hip dysplasia is common in poorly bred labs /lab mixes) big gamble getting a dog from the internet.... i would listen to your boyfriend

The question is not whether or not she's cute - all puppies are!
The question is of course whether you can afford to keep her - it says she's up to date on her shots, so you'll want to carry those on. It didn't say if she's spayed, so assume not? That isn't exactly cheap, but at least it's a one-off.
I say if you think you have the time and money go for it, she's looooovely.

Well if it were me personally I would. I'm getting ready to bring a Beagle home and my husband tells me "I DON"T WANT ANY MORE DOGS!!" lol But I don't listen and just bring them home anyway. For your situation, I guess it depends on what kind of person your boyfriend is and if he would tolerate you bringing home a pup without his permission. Very sweet looking dog too!!

She's gorgeous !
But you need to think about what the dog needs. Is it a breed that needs alot of excercise? Needs a big yard? Ya, know that type of stuff.
