To me, this is my opportunity to accept the "coupon" of Jesus' precious, shed blood, to receive the free gift of life, unending. For me, since I have been given no personal, silent "message" from God's Holy Spirit, indicating I have been selected as one of Jesus' little flock to rule with him in heaven over a cleansed earth, I look forward with eager anticipation to inheriting my promised reward for faithfulness to His designated King, right here on Terra Firma!
Once again, our precious, blue jewel of a home will will be restored to its intended splendor!
Sickness will be gone! (Isa. 33:24)
Death, too! (Rev. 21:4)
Homes and food of OUR OWN! (Micah 4:4)
Spoilers vanished! (Rev. 11:18)
Peace even with all animals! (Isa. 40:11)
Since I have striven, with his help, to earnestly maintain a meek outlook, which is being a concerted learner of Jesus' teachings, and plan to remain loyal to my God, Jehovah, I hope to successfully ride out the furious storm of Armageddon. This will cleanse our planet of all who stubbornly insist in following the path of our first, rebellious parents, Adem and Eve, in not cooperating with our Father's insruction for peace and happiness.
Isaiah 45:18 Absolute proof of God's intention for Earth!

I saw a great bumper sticker: "The meek shall inherit the earth. The rest of us are going to the stars."
Perhaps it's true. Perhaps that's what Jesus meant in the sermon on the mount: that the meek will still be here when the violent are dead and the brave have gone on to new adventures. Sort of a pastoral old people's home.

Nobody could inherit the earth. The earth will be ruined when judgment come and it is the end the earth or world.
It is not the lateral earth which we will inherit for being meek but the kingdom of heaven. It is the pity of God to us to go to heaven with Him for eternal life.

Perhaps this gives us hope for the future; these wars might just end and there could be lasting peace on earth.
Cheers.

Treat the earth well: it was not given to you
by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children."

I don't.
I don't understand what is being said.
Heaven is the goal, not the earth.
