Head and Shoulders Shampoo

2007-04-08 02:21:08 · answer #1 · answered by ? 2 · 0 0

doctors can diagnose dandruff but we're not sure what the cause is or if it's contageous. Dry scalp is often mistakenly treated as dandruff, but it's actually a completely different problem that is treated in a completely different way. When people think that they have dandruff because they see dry flakes in their hair, or on their clothes they immediately think it's dandruff and buy dandruff shampoos. But these dandruff shampoos tend to dry the scalp even more and the condition gets worse, especially if the user stops using it periodically.

See a doctor to get a diagnosis and proper treatment.

I use Neutrogena T/sal. It works very well. After a while you only use the shampoo once or twice a week. It is virtually unscented, so that is a bonus.

You can treat it, but I don't think you can completely get rid of it. Try using Head & Shoulders, it works great.
