I would stop all the world fighting. End poverty. Stop political corruption, stop people from sinning and start world peace. Put an end to global warming.

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. god is not that which "causes" it to happen, god is that which happens. figuratively speaking, if i were god for a day, i would change the past, and make it so every one person had a wonderful childhood, i would make it so confusion is not possible, and people can see what it is they are truly doing and for what purpose.
as far as im concerned, in gods eyes, everything is going according to plan.

...I can't play the "if" game... this is why I'm not God... I'd be back here in a heart-beat and clean the joint-up... The flood that Noah went thru... Ha ! ...that would be a Caribbean Cruise compared to my "Earthly cleanup"... But God promised to come back and take care of it... and I'm hopeing he'll be here soon... The world is a mess... send in Mister Clean...aka Jesus (with a big broom)...

Throw a party! If I were a goddess for only one day, that's all I'd have time for. Fortunately, I am a goddess all the time, so I have more time to do other things, like help people realize that they are all gods and goddesses.

Put most politicians in jail.
Cure all diseases.
Make all marriages and families work out and be happy.
Make everyone healthy and attractive , no fat people.
Clean the planet , re new nature .
Make it impossible for people to kill , steal , lie, cheat.

The first thing I'd do would be to severely punish people who were neglecting the wonderful gift of language which I had given them.
People who confused "where" with "were," and "your" with "you're" would be assigned a particularly unpleasant corner of Hell.
