If it were a gathering of any other group of criminals, law enforcement would be all over the place arresting them.
I fail to understand why this never happens in these cases.
Congress -republicans and democrats alike, so shut up -has completely failed us. They need to be replaced wholesale.

They figure that if they demonstrate in large enough numbers they will overwhelm the police authority's ability to effectively arrest on the spot. Also, they hope to represent themselves as a large, potential voting block by these demonstrations. But who cares? They will only vote their own interests as being low class hispanics, as hispanics are known to do. They and their sponsor families should have to pay for this invasion. The financial burdon placed upon our welfare system, schools, hospitals, roads and infrastructure; our standard of life and living, is absolutely unacceptable. If they want so much, and work so hard, they ought to be able to make a difference wherever they come from. Americans are getting fed up with illegals acting like they have rights to ANYTHING here just because they managed to sneak in. The only thing they are proving is why we should round them up and put them out. I vote for electrified fencing.

Well, at least they learned their lesson by marching with American flags this time. Too late as far as I am concerned.
The illegals I know, and I know many, do not want to become citizens. They just want citizens rights. They need to comdemn their own government, stop using racism as an excuse, and show the American people that they can and will obey the laws.

You would have thought they would have learned the first time.. they are cutting off their nose to spite their face.. all they are doing is bringing it to the attention of American Citizens how many illegals are actually in this country and demanding that we cater to them for being in this country illegally.. and it's not a very good plan because all they are doing is aggravating us.... you would have thought they would have learned the first time that it was not the way to do it

It amazes me that they had their protest signs written in Spanish. Just proves the point that even if they were given citizenship, they have no desire to assimilate. What is the point of protesting for rights and then having the signs in Spanish? Most people won't even know what they are trying to say.

The same respect as legal immigrants? PLEASE........the fact they are illegals shows me they deserve NO RESPECT! Respect them while they thumb their nose at our laws.???? Don't think so.

You would think they would learn.....but then again they don't get what ILLEGAL means so maybe it's too difficult to understand. Once again they prove that any action that requires them to do something.....is unacceptable. I could care less what they want anymore.

what business is it of theirs what Bush plans to do with the money in the first place and second why do they feel we owe them to let them become legal? these are lawbreaking people who have abandoned their home country or countries, instead of fighting for their rights as our forefathers had to do in this country. send them all home!!! and what difference is it if they pay our government to come here or some coyote?my theory---"ILLEGALS, GET OUT!!!!!

So let's see. They were given a way to make restitution for their illegal activity, paying a fine for illegally crossing the border, and they don't like it?

Screw them. Time to start deportation.

Hilarious.

Write your congressmen. They are trying to build momentum.

I love the line that Bush is making it even harder to come than coyotes do....

What about NOT coming until and unless allowed?
