8 is sufficient for most people, but if 9 wors for you- that's not unhealthy.

Why not try it out on the weekend, sleep as long as you need to . with no alarm , or set time to be up. Then see how much time that will take. Then, see how many hour that is, and adjust your sleep for the hours you decided you need.

Sleeping hours are not fixed, They very from person to person. On awakning from sleep one should feel fresh and vibrant , then his sleep is called complete.
