I noticed the same thing! Also, there are no Easter grahics surrounding the Yahoo logo as there usually are for other holidays such as Christmas. I would guess that Yahoo is being more politiacally correct. I mean, "Holy Easter" is only holy to those who believe in Jesus Christ. Not eveyone does!

I personally love it. America is a wonderful place! Where else is there freedom of religion and expresssion like this!?

There are several lead stories that rotate through Yahoo at any given time during the day. One of those leads is about the Holy fire ritual in Jerusalem. Easter got coverage.

Because Yahoo knows that their users are of all different faiths, including atheism, and that a lead story centered on one particular one would have to be newsworthy. There's nothing newsworthy about Easter; it happens every year.

Even without Yahoo's coverage of Ostara I still managed to have a good celebration. Happy Ostara to you and everyone at Yahoo!

Maybe Because Yahoo is trying to distance themselves from any religion. It's a good thing if you ask me and more companies should be like this.
